In recent years, the global energy situation and the business environment surrounding it have been undergoing major changes.

A wave of movement toward a major shift for realizing a decarbonized society is spreading around the world. On the other hand, due to factors such as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, rising energy prices have led to increased emphasis on securing fuel, stable supplies, and economic efficiency, resulting in increased attention being paid to LNG, which has a low environmental impact.

In particular, in the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, where energy demand is increasing, areas of natural gas supply and demand are generally far apart, making it increasingly difficult to supply natural gas directly via pipeline. For this reason, the role of LNG, which can be transported safely and economically, is becoming increasingly important.

In response to these changes in the environment, we would like to realize our philosophy of “delivering safe and secure energy” by fully utilizing the experience and know-how we have accumulated in LNG loading and unloading services and by taking on the challenge of decarbonization-related work.
