As the world shifts towards de-carbonization, the Japanese government has announced its goal of virtually zero CO2 emission by 2050. In the actualization of carbon-free society, LNG (liquefied natural gas) will continue to play its important role. Especially in South-East Asia, the transition from oil and coal to natural gas is expected to escalate. Moreover, stable supply by natural gas thermal power is needed to supplement instability of renewable energy such as solar and wind power.

We, Japan Energy Service Corporation (JESCO), have witnessed the loading and unloading operations of LNG with 220 cargoes per year for over 40 years. Our experienced professional staff attend LNG vessels from their arrival at LNG Terminal until their departure, to work as a coordinator between Ship and Shore to support safe and stable delivery of LNG to customers.
We provide flexible assistance for import of LNG, which continues to be an important source of energy, and with our experience in this field, we also aim to expand our role as a solution provider to new LNG related businesses.

Our future challenge lies in the carbon-free movement, which leads to the introduction of de-carbonized fuels, such as carbon neutral LNG, hydrogen and ammonia. Our goal is to provide unique and enriched services for the delivery and logistics of these new energy sources.

Since established in January 1980, JESCO has engaged with imports of LNG, and for this experience I owe great thanks to our customers for warm support and cooperation.
In the transition to carbon-free society, we are eager to listen to the customers, thus to answer the needs, and continue to offer services most suitable for each customer. Your continued kind support for JESCO is highly appreciated.
